About Cody

Updated! The old Cody is still avilable, if you're into that sort of thing.

Many of you have been asking all sorts of intrusive questions about my personal life that are making me uncomfortable... Alright, I lied, no one cares, but heres the background on the freak anyway.

Overview

Full name: Cameron Cody Smith
Lives: Berkeley, CA
School: UC Berkeley
Major: Math and CompSci
Hobbies: Development, Photography, collecting Kleenex boxes

Recently, I've become obsessed with writing FAQ's, especially since they're really easy (this is probably why FAQ's are so popular in the tech world). So here is my life, in FAQ form:

Where were your born?

Kodiak, Alaska (hence the name, "Cody"). Since then I've lived in Oregon, Maryland, Washington, Virginia, and California. Maybe it's just because I'm living away from my folks, but I feel more at home in Berkeley than I have anywhere else.

Dad couldn't hold a job, huh?

No! Dammit! He was in the Coast Guard the entire time; making his way successful up the ranks until he reached the white-male glass ceiling: Captian. (You have to be an agnostic Portugese lesbian to make Admiral).

Tell us about school.

Well, for high school I had the privilege of an enjoyable tenure at Marina High. Since then, Cal has been treating me very well. I've been doing well in my classes, enjoying my education, and have one hell of an enlightening job over at Residential Computing. Aside from that, I'm just happy with school. Hopefully grad school is my future (Math Ph.D., most likely).

Anything else worth mentioning?

I have a few interesting talents (read: "party tricks"): juggling, rubic's cube, walking around barefoot. I pride myself on having one big stunt going every semester, whether it be going barefoot, eating way too much pizza, or creating porno-robots.
